Weekends

8 Nov

My weekends this year have been really busy.

Between weddings, travel, family, and lots of other events, it’s been a while since I’ve had a quiet weekend at home.

(It should be noted that I love all of the weekends full of weddings, travel, and other events too.)

This weekend was for being in town.

For happy hours, post-happy hours, and post-post-happy hour grilled cheeses.

For walking around the farmer’s market and picking up vegetables for dinner.

For making challah, watching old 90210’s with the roomie, and cooking up a storm.

For awesome dinner parties with friends (who also happen to be my coworkers)

For post-dinner party hilarity with friends and friends’ parents. (Also for getting a ride home, high school style, from the parents)

For volunteering, strolling around the city on a beautiful fall day, and catching up on a friend’s couch.

Pretty perfect, all in all.
