Peanut flour

Trader Joe’s peanut flour. Obsessed.

I read about this stuff on a blog a couple of weeks ago and picked some up on a TJ’s run last weekend. It’s basically DIY peanut butter, but can be added to baked goods, smoothies, and pretty much anything else!

To make the peanut butter you just add about a tablespoon of water to a couple of tablespoons of the flour, mix it up, and add a little salt.

Here’s the reason why this stuff is so amazing: in 1/4 cup there are 110 calories, 4 grams of fat, and 16g of protein. That’s about a quarter of what is in regular peanut butter. Amazing, right?

Even my roommate – my go-to girl for all things peanut butter – liked it.

    I just bought this… and look forward to using it post-campaign. I never even knew it existed!
