I forgot to mention this in the last post about this WSJ article. Discussing other notable large marches on the National Mall, they cite MLK Jr.’s “I have a dream” speech (250,000 people) and the 1969 Vietnam War protest (500,000). Notice one missing? How about this one:

Oh right! The largest march in US history. The March for Women’s Lives, which drew between 800,000 and 1.1 million people to the Mall. Since that’s the closest actual estimate you have to showing what the mall will be like on inauguration day, it might be a good one to consider WSJ.
